Story Synopsis

ARGEN BOYD is having one of those days…

Although he loves being a janitor, it doesn’t quite pay the bills. On this particular morning, he finds himself being evicted from his Palmdale home… only shortly after being laid off, and only shortly before being dumped by his girlfriend. Swallowing his grief, Argen decides to visit his sister’s grave in Los Angeles, and that’s where his troubles really begin. At the cemetery, Argen bumps into his childhood friend RICKY BRIGGS, a small-time hood working for a local crime lord. Argen tells Ricky he’s looking for work in LA as a cleaner: Ricky completely misreads the term “cleaner” and sets Argen up with his boss FAUSTO, who hires Argen under the impression he’s a professional hitman. A series of mishaps involve our janitor deeper and deeper into his assumed role. Once Argen realizes the mistake, it’s too late… for not only does a woman’s life hang in the balance (DOMINIQUE, Fausto’s moll), but he’s also kept under the watchful eye of Fausto’s right hand-man, NILES, a deadly loose-cannon whose response to any predicament is to shoot first.

Keeping her safe while maintaining his “cover” proves to be as hard as it sounds… and Argen soon realizes that some days really are better spent in bed.

One bad case of mistaken identity… One bad situation after the next… all during ONE BAD DAY!
